Bringing Joy to Your Pastors

Hebrews 13:17 says, "Obey your leaders and submit to their authority. They keep watch over you as men who must give an account. Obey them so that their work may be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no advantage to you." Pastors fall into the category of leaders who will have to give an account before God for how they lead. The church must realize that the pastor ultimately gives an account before God, not us.

Scripture encourages us to obey their leadership "so that their work may be a joy, not a burden." Did you know that you can actually make ministry a burden for someone? That would be so sad for our church to make another person's ministry a burden rather than a blessing. Make a commitment with me, today, to make your pastor's ministry a source of joy and blessing. Now, that would put a smile on the face of God!
